Arrival in Leh
Enjoy the most sensational flight from Delhi to Leh, witnessing the most breathtaking sights of the K2, Nanga Parbat and Gasherbrum summits and Nun Kun massif from the airplane. As you arrive, you’ll be assisted to your hotel. Check-in at the hotel and spend the entire day acclimatizing to the high altitude of Leh Ladakh. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Sightseeing Day in Leh
On this day, you’ll explore Leh. After having breakfast at your hotel, start your day by visiting the age old Leh Palace. Further, you can cover other famous places like Hall of Fame, Shey Palace, Shanti Stupa and Leh market. Head back to your hotel in the evening and enjoy dinner and peaceful sleep.
Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La
After savouring breakfast, start driving to Nubra Valley through the highest motorable road in the world, Khardung La, situated at a distance of 39 km and at an altitude of 18390 ft. Now you reach the valley of flowers – Nubra Valley, situated at an altitude of 10,000 feet. On arriving in Nubra, check-in at the hotel/camp and spend the evening in leisure visiting a Ladakhi home.
Exploring Nubra and back to Leh
This day begins with an early morning breakfast and after that drive to Hunder where you can enjoy a Bactrian camel (double humped) ride amidst the sand dunes. While coming back to Leh, stop at Diskit and stroll around the local bazaars, and visit the 515 years old monastery. Upon arriving in Leh, check-in and spend the entire day at leisure.
A visit to Pangong Lake
Head out for Pangong Lake, followed by an early morning breakfast. On the way across the world’s third highest motorable road, Chang La. During the journey, you will visit Shey Palace, 3 Idiots Rancho School, Thiksey and the picturesque Changla Pass, at a height of 5486 metres. Later in the evening head back to Leh. After a hearty dinner, have a good night’s sleep at your hotel in Leh.
Departure from Leh
As a thrilling journey comes to an end, you will be guided to the domestic airport from where you can board the flight back.
