FAQ

Which one is better, Jaipur or Udaipur?

Jaipur, with its bustling streets, majestic forts, and vibrant bazaars, is a paradise for history buffs and culture enthusiasts. Udaipur, on the other hand, enchants visitors with its serene lakes, majestic palaces, and romantic ambiance, making it an ideal destination for couples and honeymooners

Udaipur is well known for handicrafts such as paintings, marble articles, silver arts and terracotta. The Shilpgram is a platform where regional handicraft and hand-loom products are developed.

However, the best time to visit Udaipur is between September and March. During this time the temperature is not too hot, but with the start of November till February the weather is chilly. Udaipur is extremely hot from March to June, and that can be very exhausting for people who want to explore the city

Jaipur became known as “The Pink City” when, in 1876, Maharaja Ram Singh had most of the buildings painted pink—the color of hospitality—in preparation for a visit by Britain’s Queen Victoria. Today, the city is known for its bazaars, forts, temples, palaces, and wildlife sanctuaries
